Mendel is a collaborative effort of research entities around the United States and the world. Mendel is housed and headed by the Center for Genetics and Complex Traits at the University of Pennsylvania with support from the School of Medicine and the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
The goal of Mendel is to facilitate the secure sharing, analysis and storage of genetic and epidemiological data.
Member groups have access to a variety of resources including private or topic sepecific forums as well shared code bases and project specific access to datasets.
